Hello!

I’m Dani Blázquez, a freelance illustrator based in Granada, Spain.

After studying at the EAO (Escuela de Arte de Oviedo, in northern Spain), I launched my career in 2013. Since then, I’ve collaborated with clients across the United States, Germany, France, and Canada on projects ranging from advertising campaigns to film posters, editorial work, and other creative endeavors.

Beyond commissioned work, in my more personal work—especially in the field of alternative movie posters and pop culture–inspired illustration—I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with various galleries and art spaces, including Bottleneck Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), Hero Complex Gallery (Los Angeles, CA), Gallery 1988 (Los Angeles, CA), Outré Gallery (Melbourne, AUS), Outpost 512 (Taylor, TX), El Silo Eléctrico (Granada, Spain), and Espacio La Raíz (Granada, Spain).

My visual style draws on a rich spectrum of influences—the bold aesthetics of the '80s and '90s, iconic moments from pop culture, the beauty and diversity of animal life, or the timeless appeal of vintage design. In short, anything that catches my eye and can be reinterpreted through my visual style. My creative process bridges digital illustration with traditional drawing, and I often combine both approaches to make the most of their potential.

I’m always looking for new ways to explore these themes (and others) through illustration. Each project is an opportunity to experiment, connect with audiences, and push the boundaries of my visual storytelling.

I welcome collaborations and commissions—if you’re interested in working together, feel free to reach out at hello.daniblazquez@gmail.com.

Thanks,

D.
